June Sarro, age 64, passed away on January 14, 2015 at St.
Peter’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on February 20, 1950 in Corinth, NY, the
daughter of Bert LaPier and Margaret White LaPier.
June was a homemaker who was a kind, loving and a warm
person who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
June was a very active member for the past 40 years with the
Give a Child Christmas Organization. She loved and cared for everyone and she
loved spending time with her grandchildren and her family. June love her angel collection and enjoyed going
to flea markets, garage sales and cooking for her family.
June is survived by her loving husband Gene Sarro of 48
years, her son Kim Sarro (Michele), daughters Bonnie Baker (Kevin), Bobby Jo
Sarro, brothers Ronnie LaPier (Dorann), Donnie LaPier, sister; Babe Ruth
Murdie, Charlene Phenes (Rexford), Margaret LaPier (Joe Bolduc), Peggy Been
(John), brother-in-laws; Lanson Sarro (Linda Sue), Dennis (Cindy Cole),
Karl (Joyce), and Terrence,
sister-in-laws Christina Woodcock (Richard), Karol Woodcock (John) and 10
grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and six siblings,
Ricky LaPier, Charlie LaPier, Judy LaPier, Clara LaPier, Susie LaPier, Frank LaPier, Dennis LaPier and brother-in-law
Patrick Sarro.
A Memorial service in honor of June’s life will be held at 5
pm on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave,
Saratoga Springs. Calling hours will be
held from 2 pm to 4:30 pm prior to the service.
